Jean-Louis Schlesser viert vandaag zijn verjaardag

Oud Formule 1-coureur Jean-Louis Schlesser is vandaag jarig. De Fransman heeft de leeftijd van 68 jaar bereikt. Schlesser probeerde zich in 1983 namens RAM Racing te kwalificeren voor de Grand Prix van Frankrijk, wat mislukte. Vijf jaar later kreeg hij voor de Italiaanse Grand Prix een herkansing van Williams en toen lukte het hem wel om zich te kwalificeren. Het bleek zijn enige start in de Formule 1. Bekender is hij van de Dakar-buggy's die zijn naam dragen. De felicitaties gaan uit naar de jarige Schlesser.
