Mercedes doet er alles aan om de favorietenrol voor de Grand Prix van Singapore naar Red Bull Racing en Ferrari te schuiven. Dat heeft uiteraard te maken met de ervaring van vorig jaar, toen de Duitse renstal in Singapore geen partij vormde voor de concurrentie. Lewis Hamilton stelt dat Mercedes daarvan geleerd heeft. "Hopelijk gaat het dit keer beter."
