Hamilton maakt zich geen zorgen na problemen in VT2

Drievoudig wereldkampioen Lewis Hamilton kende een dag met wisselende successen op het Marina Bay Circuit in Singapore. In de schemering wist de Brit de vierde tijd te rijden, in de middagsessie kwam Hamilton niet verder dan een zevende tijd nadat er problemen waren met de hydraulische systemen in zijn Mercedes. Ondanks de problemen is Hamilton positief gestemd voor de rest van het weekend.

"Het ging eigenlijk best wel goed, zeker wanneer je het vergelijkt met vorig seizoen. Ook het rijden met de halo was goed, ik merkte nauwelijks dat ze het op mijn auto hadden gezet. Aan het einde van de tweede training kenden we wat problemen, maar gelukkig is dat eenvoudig op te lossen. Ons tempo lijkt hier goed te zijn, het ziet er goed uit", aldus Hamilton.
