Brown maakt weg vrij voor functie in Formule 1

Het nieuws dat Zak Brown opstapt als directeur van sportmarketingbedrijf CSM heeft de geruchten dat hij een rol binnen de Formule 1 gaat vertolken alleen maar verder aangewakkerd. Nieuwe eigenaar Liberty Media is van plan om een groep te formeren om samen met Bernie Ecclestone te werken aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de koningsklasse van de autosport.

Brown is een belangrijke gegadigde voor een commerciële functie binnen die nieuwe structuur, bericht Autosport. Hij heeft al een aardige erelijst in de Formule 1 opgebouwd. Brown hielp Williams aan sponsor Martini, Ferrari aan UPS, McLaren aan Johnnie Walker en de Formula One Group aan UBS. Hij richtte in 1995 de Just Marketing Group op. Dat bedrijf groeide uit tot de grootste firma op gebied van sportmarketing, waarna het in 2013 door CSM van Chime Communications werd overgenomen.

      Ik dacht ook even aan Ross maar het gaat ver om dit suggestief te noemen omdat we ervan uit gaan dat er een tikfout gemaakt is.

      Idd dacht ook dat het om Ross ging.
      Van die andere heb ik nog nooit gehoord.

    Nee het heeft niet met Ross Brawn terug keer te maken helaas , ik las op een andere Forum dat hij nog mogelijk open stond voor een adviserende functie in de formule1 , maar dat zal zeker weten geen Ferrari zijn , het heeft te maken dat Arrivabene bepaalde goede vrienden van Brawn heeft ontslagen bij Ferrari , Technische Directeuren staan niet in de rij voor deze Functie bij Ferrari tegenwoordig , Het schijnt dat Dave Ryan van Manor wel contact heeft gezocht heeft met Brawn.
