Oud Formule 1-coureur Mika Hakkinen is vandaag jarig. De Fin blaast 48 kaarsjes uit op zijn verjaardagstaart. Hakkinen was tussen 1991 en 2001 actief in de koningsklasse van de autosport. Hij reed alleen voor Lotus en McLaren. Voor dat laatste team behaalde hij grote successen, met de wereldtitels in 1998 en 1999 als kroon op het werk. In 161 Grand Prix-starts wist hij twintig keer te winnen. De felicitaties gaan uit naar de jarige Hakkinen.
