Onderzoek naar oneerlijk beleid en geldverdeling Formule 1 door EU stap verder

Ongeveer een jaar geleden dienden Force India en Sauber een klacht in bij de Europese Unie om hun bezwaar geldig te maken omtrent de oneerlijke verdeling van het geld binnen de Formule 1. Verhoudingsgewijs krijgen de grote teams veel meer geld dan kleinere teams, die daardoor moeite hebben het hoofd boven water te houden en competitief te worden. 

Volgens Bob Fernley, vice-teambaas van Force India, heeft het onderzoek door de EU een volgende stap bereikt. Fernley laat weten dat de EU een nieuwe divisie heeft ingesteld die onderzoek doet naar misstanden in sport, waaronder de Formule 1. Ondanks het instellen van de divisie is er nog niet heel veel vooruitgang geboekt ten opzichte van vorig jaar toen Sauber en Force India hun beklag deden.

Bob Fernley blijft echter optimistisch, zo laat de Brit vanuit Maleisië weten: "Ik kan bevestigen dat de volgende stap is gezet. Vanuit de EU is opdracht gegeven meer informatie te vergaren. Omdat het hier om een juridisch proces gaat kan ik niet al te veel details geven. Ik kan echter bevestigen dat onze zaak op de agenda van de EU staat."

Is ook een grof schandaal dat dat al die jaren zo heeft kunnen gebeuren. Helemaal als je bedenkt dat Ferrari al jaaaaaren geen titels meer weet te bemachtigen. Ik ben ook benieuwd of het schrappen van deze 'regeling' gevolgen heeft voor de competitiviteit van Ferrari.

    Tijd voor ferrari om niet meer de miljoenen te krijgen voor naamsbekenheid only.

      als je 80 mil krijgt voor de naamsbekendheid en de jarenlange actie in de sport, en je slaagt er al 9 jaar niet in om wk te worden en dit jaar eigenlijk wegzakt doe je toch iets verkeerd en vraag ik mij dan ook hardop af wat ze met die 80 mil (minimaal) doen

      Even off topic, maar Max was door de warmte en uitdroging ingestort na de eerste training gisteren. Dat heb ik hier niet gelezen of heb ik iets gemist? Ik lees net dat 'ie is gecheckt en gewoon mag racen.

      @BEN DOVER,

      Max had schijnbaar uitdrogingsverschijnselen door de hitte. Wellicht speelt zijn verjaardag ook een rolletje mee. :) Daarnaast zijn de coureurs tegenwoordig erg mager, dat zal ook ergens wel een rol mee spelen. Christian Horner gaf gisteren aan, dat de coureurs alweer druk aan de slag zijn om weer massa te kweken voor volgend jaar. Dus het vermagerde, en uitgehongerde uiterlijk gaat als het goed is verdwijnen. Ziet er echt niet uit! Zag gisteren die armpjes van Kvyat.. Poh, poh! Di Resta had het er vanmorgen nog over. Hij kwam de F1 binnen met 82Kg, en op het laatst was er nog een kleine 70kg over... Dat kan gewoon niet goed zijn.

      Klopt inderdaad. Ik werk zelf als personal trainer en heb met veel verschillende sportieve doelen te maken. Vanuit professioneel oogpunt snap ik dat het nu zo is, maar of het gezond is, is een tweede ;) Als het puur om gezondheid gaat, geloof ik heilig in een sterk geheel. Dat wil niet zeggen dat je er als een bodybuilder uit moet zien, maar wel dat een sterk lichaam over een goed uithoudingsvermogen en een zekere basiskracht beschikt. Daarnaast is een van de sleutels dat de spieren goed moeten samenwerken, zodat kracht ook bruikbaar is. Dat gezegd hebbende, verbaast het mij als ik Max op foto's zie lopen. Hij loopt heel vaak niet recht, wat duidt op een 'slechte' core en dat vind ik voor een topsporter met een personal trainer niet best.

      Dat is mij ook opgevallen. Ook hoe hij op zijn voeten staat is niet erg best. Hij loopt als Lurch van de Addams family(ik val Max niet aan, zeg alleen wat ik zie). Handen recht naar beneden, voeten plat op de grond als hij een stap zet.. Heel raar! Hij lijkt ontzettend goede buikspieren te hebben, maar een zwakke rug. Waarschijnlijk bedoel jij daar de core mee. :)

      De coureurs zullen er snel weer uitzien als de mannen uit 200-2006. Ik denk dat die lichaamsverhoudingen perfect zijn voor F1.
