Nico Rosberg: "Kreeg settings niet voor elkaar en had last van overstuur"

Nico Rosberg kreeg het niet voor elkaar in de kwalificatie om teamgenoot Lewis Hamilton te verslaan. De Duitser, die de laatste drie Grand Prix won, start de race als tweede. Volgens Rosberg was pole mogelijk geweest, maar had hij een probleem met de settings van zijn auto en in zijn eerste poging teveel overstuur.

Ondanks de tweede startplek is Rosberg strijdbaar wanneer het aankomt op de race: "Natuurlijk ging ik voor pole position, anders had ik net zo goed binnen kunnen blijven. De ronde van Lewis was erg snel, ik wist dat het moeilijk zou gaan worden maar uiteindelijk zat ik er niet zover achter. Het lukte mij niet de settings van de auto goed te krijgen en ik had last van overstuur. Voor de race van morgen ligt alles open."
