Renault bevestigt gebruik van F-duct op bolide vanaf Spa

Renault zal volgend weekend voor het eerst met de F-duct gaan rijden, zo bevestigde het team vandaag tegen Autosport. Het Franse team is al enkele maanden bezig met de ontwikkeling van de F-duct, maar zal het op Spa-Francorchamps eindelijk op de auto plaatsen.

Ondanks dat de fabrieken de afgelopen twee weken gesloten waren, heeft Renault toch de F-duct af kunnen bouwen. Volgens Autosport wil Renault het meteen tijdens de race inzetten en zal het de F-duct niet alleen op de auto zetten om tijdens de trainingen te gaan testen. "Hoe langer de rechte stukken, hoe meer voordeel je hebt met een F-duct", verklaarde Renault-coureur Robert Kubica al in Hongarije.
