Mark Webber maakte deze week bekend dat hij na dit seizoen stopt met racen. De Australiër hangt zijn helm aan de wilgen en gaat verder als vertegenwoordiger van Porsche. Webber won negen Grands Prix in zijn tijd in de Formule 1 en veroverde vorig jaar samen met Brendon Hartley en Timo Bernhard de titel in de LMP1-klasse in het WEC.
