Peterhansel en Al-Attiyah bij Dakar Pre-proloog

De organisatie van de RTL GP Dakar Pre-proloog heeft twee wereldtoppers vastgelegd. Stephane Peterhansel en Nasser Al-Attiyah, de winnaars van de afgelopen twee edities bij de auto's, togen op 30 oktober naar het Eurocircuit in Valkenswaard voor het evenement.

Peterhansel heeft de Dakar al twaalf keer op zijn naam geschreven; eerst zes keer op de motor en daarna nog zes keer op vier wielen. Zijn meest recente zege dateert uit 2016, toen hij met Peugeot de beste was. Al Attiyay zegevierde in 2011 en 2015 in Dakar.

Natuurlijk is ook Gerard de Rooy met zijn vrachtwagen van de partij bij de RTL GP Dakar Pre-proloog, evenals publiekslievelingen Tim en Tom Coronel en Erik van Loon. De 38ste editie van de Dakar Rally is vanaf begin januari uitgebreid te volgen bij RTL 7.
