Kubica hoopt met F-duct in België op einde aan mindere reeks

Renault-coureur Robert Kubica hoopt dat het geluk hem komend weekend op Spa-Francorchamps weer eens toelacht. De Pool begon sterk aan het seizoen, maar de laatste drie races scoorde hij slechts zes punten. Het wordt tijd voor weer eens een topresultaat en Renault introduceert in België een F-duct om daarbij te helpen.

Kubica: Hopelijk werkt de F-duct meteen naar behoren zodat we de vrije trainingen kunnen gebruiken om de prestaties te optimaliseren. We zien een tendens dat teams met F-ducts met meer downforce kunnen rijden, omdat ze door de neutralisatie van de achtervleugel op rechte stukken toch een goede topsnelheid halen. Dat speelt mee in de aanpak ten opzichte van Spa. Het is een circuit waar we allemaal van genieten, maar de prestaties van de auto zijn nog altijd zeer belangrijk.

Na zo'n lange pauze kijk ik niet terug, maar vooruit naar wat nog komen gaat. Het zal een zwaar slotakkoord worden, met nog maar twee races in Europa en daarna verre reizen naar Azië, Zuid-Amerika en het Midden-Oosten. Ik heb de laatste drie races geen geluk gehad en stond in Silverstone en Boedapest met lege handen. Ik zou graag terugkeren naar de vorm van begin dit jaar, toen we regelmatig veel punten scoorden. Het doel voor mijzelf en het team in de resterende races is het gat naar de top dichten.

Ik hoop aankomend weekend Alonso op 1 en Kubica op 2!
Alleen gaat dat denk ik niet gebeuren, maar je weet het maar nooit.

Als ik 1 ding niet hoop is het Alonso op 1. Als ik 2 dingen niet hoop is het Alonso op 1 of Vettel op 1. De rest kan me niet zoveel schelen, als de race maar mooi wordt.

Renault is mijn team tenminste daar ben ik fan van dus ik hoop dat ze echt een keer beloont worden voor hun harde werken . op het podium.wanneer de f-duct goed werk zie ik ze daar wel voor in staat.Het is het meest onderwaardeerd team van de f1 .de uitstaling maar wel 1000 x beter ze zijn zelf te weinig in het nieuws ,jammer
