Boek over Gijs van Lennep binnenkort te koop

Oud Formule 1-coureur Gijs van Lennep legt momenteel de laatste hand aan een biografie over zijn leven. Het boek zal maar liefst 300 pagina's tellen. De 74-jarige Van Lennep was in de jaren zeventig van de vorige eeuw actief in de Formule 1. In totaal verscheen hij acht maal aan de start van een Grand Prix, waarin hij twee keer een punt scoorde. Meer succes had de Nederlander in de 24 uur van Le Mans. Van Lennep schreef die race twee keer op zijn naam.
