Marcus Ericsson in VT1 in Brazilië met de 'halo'

Sauber-coureur Marcus Ericsson zal vrijdag kennismaken met de halo, het systeem om de hoofden van de rijders beter te beschermen dat de FIA samen met de teams ontwikkelt voor 2018. De Zweed is niet de enige. Haas F1 Team zal de halo ook uitproberen op de auto van Romain Grosjean.

Ericsson: "Ik krijg vrijdag in de eerste vrije training voor de Braziliaanse Grand Prix de kans om voor het eerst met de halo te testen. Ik ben benieuwd om te ervaren hoe het voelt om met dat systeem te rijden en wat het doet met het zicht vanuit de cockpit."
