Jeroen Bleekemolen volgend jaar in Mercedes GT3

Jeroen Bleekemolen bestuurt in 2017 een Mercedes-Benz AMG GT3 in het IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar-kampioenschap. Dat doet de Nederlander samen met Ben Keating namens Riley Motorsports. De afgelopen drie jaar maakten ze gebruik van een Dodge Viper GT3-R. Vanaf volgend seizoen rijden ze dus in een Mercedes GT3.

Bleekemolen: "Ik ben enthousiast over dit programma. Ten eerste is het geweldig om ook in 2017 samen te werken met Riley Motorsports en Ben Keating. Het is een van de beste teams in deze business, met uitstekende rijders. Ten tweede is het heel fijn om weer achter het stuur van een Mercedes te kruipen. Met Mercedes heb ik veel gewonnen, waaronder de 24 uur van de Nürburgring, de 24 uur van Dubai twee keer en de 12 uur van Abu Dhabi. Hopelijk kunnen we volgend jaar meer zeges aan dat rijtje toevoegen."
