Mika Salo doet in Brazilië dienst als extra steward

Mika Salo voorziet komend weekend bij de Grand Prix van Brazilië het team van stewards van de internationale autosportbond FIA van adviezen. De Fin komt op bekend terrein, want hij assisteerde de wedstrijdleiding vorig jaar ook al op Interlagos.

Salo stond zelf tussen 1994 en 2002 aan de start van 109 Grands Prix. Hij verdedigde de eer van Lotus, Tyrrell, Arrows, BAR, Ferrari, Sauber en Toyota. Namens Ferrari behaalde hij zijn enige twee podiumplekken. De Fin verzamelde in totaal 33 punten.
