Oud Formule 1-coureur Eddie Irvine is vandaag jarig. De Noord-Ier heeft de leeftijd van 51 jaar bereikt. Irvine was van 1993 tot en met 2002 actief in de Formule 1. Hij verscheen namens Jordan, Ferrari en Jaguar 147 maal aan de start van een Grand Prix en won vier keer. Zijn beste seizoen was 1999, toen hij na de beenbreuk van Michael Schumacher kopman van Ferrari werd en als tweede eindigde in het kampioenschap. De felicitaties gaan uit naar de jarige Irvine.
