Jaime Alguersuari: "De spannendste race in mijn carriére"

Jaime Alguersuari reed vandaag naar de tiende plaats in de Grand Prix van België. De Spanjaard startte de race vanaf de elfde plaats en pakte op het einde nog een puntje. Teamgenoot Sebastien Buemi kwam niet verder dan de dertiende plaats aan de finish.

"Dit was met zekerheid de spannendste race die ik ooit in de Formule 1 heb gereden", vertelde Alguersuari. "Ik ben blij dat ik vandaag weer een punt heb kunnen scoren. Ik kan nu niet meer wachten op Monza en hoop dat weer wat punten te kunnen scoren of in ieder geval een goede race te rijden."

Buemi vertelde over zijn race op Spa-Francorchamps: "Ik werd in de eerste bocht door iemand geraakt, waardoor ik een lekke band opliep. Daarna was de auto een stuk moeilijker te besturen omdat ook mijn diffuser wat schade had opgelopen. Jammer, want ik had graag wat punten willen scoren in deze race."
