Ook Manor wil vooruitbetaling van prijzengeld

Naast Force India heeft ook Manor Racing een verzoek ingediend voor een voorschot op het dit jaar verdiende prijzengeld. Net als bij Force India dient het bij Manor ter overbrugging van de wintermaanden, waarin Formula One Management doorgaans geen geld uitkeert.

Autosport vernam van Manor: "Net als andere teams hebben wij inderdaad een aanvraag ingediend om een deel van het prijzengeld dat ons team toekomt in 2017 vooruitbetaald te krijgen.”

"Het is vaker gebeurd dat teams een soortgelijke aanvraag indienen, en het is ook vaker gehonoreerd. Deze vooruitbetalingen kunnen teams helpen tijdens de periode waarin de auto wordt gebouwd. Wij waren tevens een van de meerdere teams die een vooruitbetaling voor 2016 ontvingen."
