McLaren bevestigt Zak Brown als nieuwe directeur

De McLaren Technology Group heeft Zak Brown aangesteld als nieuwe directeur. Brown begint op korte termijn met zijn werkzaamheden voor de Britse firma. Aan hem de taak om de commerciële en strategische operaties van McLaren af te stemmen op sportief succes van de renstal in de Formule 1.

Brown zal in zijn nieuwe functie nauw gaan samenwerken met Jonathan Neale. Over zijn dienstverband bij McLaren zegt hij: "Ik ben immens trots om me bij de McLaren Technology Group te voegen. Ik heb veel respect en bewondering voor wat McLaren al bereikt heeft en ik kijk ernaar uit om een bijdrage te leveren aan de volgende fase in de ontwikkeling van dit bedrijf."

"Ik werk al jaren intensief samen met McLaren en daardoor ben ik onder de indruk geraakt van de bevlogenheid en het talent op de werkvloer. Ik verheug me erop om de sterke punten van deze firma aan te vullen en ze verder uit te bouwen voor toekomstig succes in alles dat we doen."

McLaren vervolgt de zoektocht naar een nieuwe directeur voor de McLaren Group als geheel.
