Williams verlegt alle aandacht naar de auto voor 2011

Het team van Williams zet de ontwikkeling van de huidige FW32 binnenkort stop. De Britse renstal introduceert in Singapore de laatste grote upgrade van dit jaar. De nieuwe onderdelen zijn reeds in de windtunnel getest en ze zijn zo goed als klaar. Alle focus gaat nu uit naar de auto voor 2011.

Technisch directeur Sam Michael: We hebben nog één pakket vernieuwingen en die komt in Singapore. We hebben ze al in de windtunnel getest. Alles is al aerodynamisch ontworpen, nu nog mechanisch ontwerpen en produceren. De prioriteiten van de ontwerpafdeling gaan vanaf nu volledig uit naar 2011, aerodynamisch gezien. Het wordt een compleet andere auto, iedereen begint met een leeg vel papier.
