Keke Rosberg viert vandaag zijn 68ste verjaardag

Oud Formule 1-coureur Keke Rosberg is vandaag jarig. De Fin heeft de leeftijd van 68 jaar bereikt. Keke Rosberg was tussen 1978 en 1986 actief in de Formule 1. Hij verdedigde de kleuren van teams als Theodore, ATS, Wolf, Fittipaldi, Williams en McLaren. Zijn beste jaar was 1982, toen hij met één zege toch de wereldtitel voor zich opeiste. Keke Rosberg verscheen 114 keer aan de start van een Grand Prix en won vijf maal. Hij is de vader van huidige wereldkampioen Nico Rosberg. De felicitaties gaan uit naar de jarige Keke Rosberg.

      James Hunt is alleen maar door die film. Als je voor die film mij gevraagd had of ie ooit WK was geworden had ik het niet geweten.

      Het verhaal van seizoen 76 was zo bijzonder dat het de moeite was om er een film over te maken. De meeste wat oudere raceliefhebbers weten allemaal wie James Hunt was en kenden het verhaal van Rush voordat ze de film gingen zien.

      Ik ken de naam Hunt goed genoeg maar of hij wereldkampioen was geweest zou ik niet zo direct op kunnen antwoorden voor ik de film zag.
