Mercedes maakt datum presentatie W08 bekend

Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team heeft de datum waarop hun nieuwe auto wordt onthuld bekend gemaakt. De auto, de W08, zal worden onthuld op een evenement bij het circuit van Silverstone op 23 februari aanstaande.

De W08 zal hoogstwaarschijnlijk meedoen om de titel. Lewis Hamilton zal voor het team rijden, de tweede coureur is nog altijd onbekend. De Fin Valtteri Bottas lijkt de beste papieren te hebben voor het tweede stoeltje.

    Wacht even, dat gaat me iets te snel. Eerst moet er een bericht komen waarin bovenstaand bericht wordt aangekondigd.

      Vind ik ook... en BOT moet daarna naar de fabriek gaan om het stoeltje te gaan schuimen als hij daar aangekondigd wordt als 2e rijder...moet niet gekker worden bij Mercedes :-)

      @Caramba: Hoezo te snel? Waarom dat eerst bekendmaken? Die datum wordt alleen vrijgegeven voor de planning voor journaille en aanwezigen. Niets anders.
      Planning noemt men dat. En gezien 'Bottas' nog niet bekend is... Kan je zelf wel invullen.

      @Bear: met andere woorden, totaal niet interessant voor de lezers zelf, die gaan echt niet hun agenda hierop aanpassen. Maak er desnoods 1 aankondiging van zodra je de presentiedatums binnen hebt, in plaats van 11 keer hetzelfde oninteressante bericht.

      @Caramba: ik kan ook niet helpen dat het een 'nieuws item' is. Overigens zullen er best Mclaren fans zijn die het wél interessant vinden.
      F1Today is nu eenmaal een vergaarbak voor al het nieuws rondom F1 en andere gemotoriseerde sporten.
      Ik ben bijvoorbeeld helemaal niet geïnteresseerd in verjaardagen van coureurs.

    Eerdaags komen ze wel met Bottas, misschien is hij zijn vakantie dagen aan het opmaken van 2016.

      Bottas is eergisteren aan een trainingskamp begonnen.
      Mocht Merc al iets aankondigen, dan zal hij daar dus niet bij
      aanwezig kunnen zijn.
      Waarschijnlijk krijgen we nog steeds niets te horen.

    Die mannen hebben de luxe gehad om flink aan 2017 te werken zeg... 23 februari en dat nu al bekend maken, is zoiets als "klaarrrrrr, hoever zijn jullie?" in Mercedes-termen.
    En over 2e stoeltje, dat is niet zo heel erg belangrijk.. Ik hoop dat er 1 of 2 teams van begin af aan de strijd aan kunnen gaan met Merc, dat is belangrijker. Als dat niet zo is, wordt het een voorspelbaar seizoen qua wk.. onafhankelijk van wie het zitje krijgt naast Lewis.

      Ze kunnen zelfs de auto uit 1996 presenteren als ze willen. De presentatie auto hoeft niet het eindprodukt te zijn en hoeft dus daarom niet eens aan de huidige regels te voldoen.
