Oud Formule 1-coureur Emanuele Pirro is vandaag jarig. De Italiaan heeft de leeftijd van 55 jaar bereikt. Pirro reed 37 Grands Prix namens Benetton en Scuderia Italia en daarin scoorde hij 3 punten. Meer furore maakte hij in de 24 uur van Le Mans. Hij schreef de lange afstands-race vijf keer op zijn naam. De Italiaan draaft tegenwoordig nog geregeld op als adviseur van de stewards bij Grands Prix. De felicitaties gaan uit naar de jarige Pirro.
