Loting voor Race of Champions Miami bekend

De loting voor de groepsfase van de komende editie van de Race of Champions is bekend. Marlins Park in Miami is dit weekend gastheer voor het evenement. De Race of Champions heeft de indeling wat omgegooid, met dit keer het individuele toernooi op zaterdag en de Nations Cup op zondag.

In de Nations Cup is gekozen voor een regionale opsplitsing. Dat wil zeggen: de Noord-Amerikaanse teams in poule A, de Europese teams in poule B en de Zuid-Amerikaanse-teams in poule C. De nummers 1 en 2 uit poule A nemen het in de halve finale tegen elkaar op, waardoor er sowieso een Noord-Amerikaans team in de finale zal staan. De andere halve finale bestaat uit de winnaars van poule B en poule C.

Dit is de loting voor het individuele toernooi van 21 januari:

Ze racen met gelijkwaardige auto's. Das het belangrijkste wat ik nog wist van de Race of Champions.

Mooi dat ze eerst het individuele programma hebben daarna de landen. Vorig jaar had Coulthard volgens mij gewonnen. Kwam de eerste dag ver met Schotland en had daardoor ook veel ervaring van de baan en verschillende auto's.

Persoonlijk vond ik het vorig jaar wel leuk om te zien, veel actie en leuk omdat ze met verschillende klasse auto's rijden. 2 jaar geleden in de Dominicaanse republiek met een soort van supertrucks met een manier van driften rijden ze goed, Grosjean was lekker bezig alleen met de meeste bochten op 2 wielen:)
