McLaren-Honda strikt Stratasys als nieuwe partner

McLaren-Honda bundelt de krachten met Stratasys, een leverancier van oplossingen wat betreft 3D printen. Stratasys zal de Britse renstal voorzien van de nieuwste technologie op dat gebied. McLaren en Stratasys hebben een vierjarig contract afgesloten.

Racing director Eric Boullier: "De capaciteit om in rap tempo nieuwe componenten te modelleren, bouwen en evalueren is van onschatbare waarde voor een Formule 1-team. Onze samenwerking met Stratasys stelt ons niet alleen in staat om onze output op dat vlak te vergroten, maar ook om de nieuwste technieken en innovaties op gebied van 3D printen te verkennen en te gebruiken. We verwachten dan ook veel van deze nieuwe alliantie met Stratasys."
