Van der Garde toont waardering voor Sauber-livery

Het team van Sauber heeft vanochtend de nieuwe C36 gepresenteerd en de kleurstelling van de bolide valt in de smaak. Zelfs bij Giedo van der Garde, die begin 2015 nog in een dispuut met de Zwitserse renstal verwikkeld was. Er zit echter geen oud zeer bij de Nederlander.

Via Twitter verkondigt Van der Garde: "Wauw! Een prachtige livery, Sauber! Retro, maar toch ook modern." De nieuwe kleurstelling van Sauber bevat gouden details om het 25-jarige jubileum in de Formule 1 te vieren. Opvallend is verder het gebrek aan sponsornamen op de C36.

      @WILLIAM-E: Gezien de gang van zaken rondom zijn contract destijds, is deze reactie een andere is als men gevoelsmatig zou kunnen aannemen. Voor de gemiddelde autosportfan, en dan vooral hier op het forum, heeft dit derhalve daadwerkelijk nieuwswaarde. Voor rampen, oorlog en doorgedraaide politici (trefwoord: fakenews), kun je bij het ANP terecht :-)

      Inderdaad. Hij zal dit ook meer zeggen richting het personeel waar hij prima mee door een door kon, dan richting mevrouw Kaltenborn.
      Maar het is inmiddels al weer 2 jaar gelden en hij kijkt al lang weer vooruit en is bezig met andere dingen. Je kunt ook niet eeuwig met frustratie achterom blijven kijken.

    Oh zou iemand het alfa Romeo logo op dat blauwe vlak (op de sidepod) kunnen photoshoppen ?
