Roger Penske viert vandaag zijn 80ste verjaardag

Oud Formule 1-coureur Roger Penske is vandaag jarig. De Amerikaan heeft de leeftijd van 80 jaar bereikt. Penske verscheen in 1961 en 1962 aan de start van de Grand Prix in eigen land op het circuit van Watkins Glen. Hij haalde beide keer de finish, maar wel buiten de punten. Meer roem vergaarde hij als eigenaar van een succesvol IndyCar-team. De felicitaties gaan uit naar de jarige Penske.

Schitterende foto, geeft goed weer hoe het er toen aan toe ging in de F1. Hoezo vangrail, uitloopzones, marshalls, etc...
Ik ga ervan uit dat hij dit forum niet leest, dus hier feliciteren heeft niet heel veel zin. Maar voor het geval dat: Van harte gefeliciteerd.
