Toro Rosso stelt presentatie STR12 uit

Toro Rosso stelt de presentatie van haar bolide voor 2017 noodgedwongen anderhalf uur uit. Het zusterteam van Red Bull had haar presentatie aanvankelijk komende zondag om 16:30 uur in Barcelona willen organiseren, maar moet dit uitstellen tot de avond.

"Door overmacht moeten wij onze presentatie uitstellen tot 18:00 uur zondagavond. De locatie blijft hetzelfde, namelijk net als afgelopen jaar de pitlane in Barcelona en de rest van het programma blijft hetzelfde," aldus een woordvoerder van het team.

Het Italiaanse team kent voorlopig geen vlekkeloze voorbereiding op het komende seizoen. Tijdens de eerste filmdag met de STR12 begaf de Renault-motor het na 6 ronden, waardoor de maximaal toegestane 100 kilometer, die gereden mag worden, bij lange na niet gehaald.

      Het ERS systeem schijnt het te hebben begeven door een probleem
      in de software.
      Dit kon niet zo snel opgelost worden.
      Niets aan de hand dus als dat idd het probleem was.

      Als ze Carlos ff de kans hadden gegeven om de boel vooraf te bekijken was er niks gebeurd. Carlos speurt zoiets binnen 2 á 3 seconden op.

      Nee, ze hebben die tijd nodig om Carlos gerust te stellen dat hij dit jaar echt wel WK gaat worden omdat hij gewoon de beste coureur van de grid is.

      Ik denk dat ze meer tijd nog hebben om Carlos uit te leggen dat hij de uitspraak om in 2017 de kar te trekken niet te letterlijk moet nemen. Nu de auto na zes rondjes al stil viel.
