'Schaduw' van Ecclestone volgt zijn baas en vertrekt

Italiaanse media berichten dat de rechterhand van voormalig Formule 1-baas Ecclestone ook de paddock heeft verlaten. Pasquale Lattuneddu werkte zo’n 27 jaar naast Ecclestone en werd ook wel zijn schaduw genoemd.

De 58-jarige Lattuneddu begon met het verstrekken van accreditaties voor de media en maakte jacht op iedereen die niet de juiste papieren had. Uiteindelijk werkte hij zich op als Chief of Operations en zorgde dat in de exclusieve zone alles tot in detail geregeld was. Van de plaatsing van motorhomes en trucks van de teams tot het zorgen dat het de VIP gasten aan niets ontbrak.

      Want? Ik hoor vandaag voor eerst zijn naam en heb zo iets van... hmm ok. Maar of hij zijn werk goed of slecht deed? De enige impressie die ik had van alle "behind the scenes" beelden van o.a. Sky F1 is dat alles tot in de puntjes geregeld was. Als dat zijn werk was, niet meer dan een gastheer, deed hij het zeer goed.
