'Ferrari koopt deel aandelen van de Formule 1'

Ferrari heeft een deel van de aandelen van Formule 1 gekocht, dat melden Spaanse en Italiaanse media. Liberty Media bood de teams in september al aan om een deel van de commerciële rechten te kopen, maar tot nu toe was er geen team dat daarop inging.

Maar naar nu bekend is geworden heeft Ferrari eind februari voor een bedrag van 11,4 miljoen dollar aandelen gekocht in de Formule 1. Een officiële bevestiging van de kant van Ferrari is er echter nog niet. 

Eric Boullier, teambaas van het geplaagde McLaren, wilde niet zeggen of zij ook in de markt zijn om aandelen te kopen. Maar in algemenere zin wilde hij wel reageren: "Wij hebben onze eigen ideeën wat de Formule 1 verder zou helpen en zijn heel benieuwd naar de toekomstplannen van Liberty."

Boullier geeft aan dat Liberty Media duidelijk een ander beleid voert dan Bernie Ecclestone. "Zij willen veranderingen doorvoeren en proberen daar de teams, sponsors en iedereen rond de Formule 1 bij te betrekken," zo besluit hij.

    Maar ondertussen wel kans na kans na kans voor Romain bieden en psycholoog na psycholoog werd er doorheen gedraaid om Romain een race uit te laten rijden. Ondertussen hengelde Kimi de zeges binnen maar werd maanden later als een hond afgeserveerd.
    Toen Boullier daarna groots werd binnengehaald door McLaren en Dennis (een van de grotere fouten van Dennis) hoopt ik stiekum dat er een stukje karma aan Eric was blijven kleven.
    Dat de man het volledige universum tegen zich in het harnas had gejaagd kon niemand voorzien ;)

      met als dieptepunt de samenwerking met de twijfelachtige 'prins' Malik in 1999, die het team gouden bergen beloofde, maar nooit over de brug kwam.

      Walkinshaw in 2010In 2000 keerde Verstappen terug bij Arrows, dat een opleving kende. Echter, twee jaar later ging het team op de fles en verliet Walkinshaw met de staart tussen de benen de Formule 1.

      1 ding deed hij zeker wel goed in de f1, haalde Brawn bij de club; )

    En zo verzekert Ferrari zich voor een koopje van de exorbitante financiële steun die het team jaarlijks krijgt middels de totaal belachelijke prijzengeldregeling.

      Nee hoor, dit is gewoon een geste richting F1 en hun achterban. Ze krijgen hiervoor nog niet eens 0,25 % aandeel...die regel gaat echt wel op de schop, en daarnaast heeft elk grote team met deze regels te maken, er zal dus echt geen uitzondering voor Fer gemaakt worden, indien ze er aan gaan schaven....

    Ergens is dit toch een wat vreemde constructie.

    Ferrari krijgt standaard ieder jaar van de rechtenhouders circa 100 miljoen voor hun deelname (en committment) aan de F1. En nu gaan ze ook nog aandelen kopen.

    Dus als zij die 100 miljoen die ze ieder jaar krijgen meteen weer in aandelen steken zouden ze in theorie ook steeds meer eigenaar worden.

    Vreemd hoor.

      Is maar beperkt percentage van de aandelen beschikbaar voor de teams daarbij zit er op die aandelen geen stemrecht. Ze delen dus alleen in de winst
