Marcin Budkowski nieuwe technisch directeur van de FIA

Marcin Budkowski heeft een deel van het takenpakket van Charlie Whiting overgenomen. Budkowski is door de FIA aangesteld als technisch directeur van de FIA.

Deze functie viel de afgelopen jaren onder het uitgebreide takenpakket van Charlie Whiting. De afgelopen twee jaar was Budkowski al werkzaam bij de FIA als technisch en sportief coördinator. Voor die tijd was hij hoofd aerodynamica bij het team van McLaren. Daarvoor was hij in dienst bij Ferrari.

Whiting blijft gewoon andere taken vervullen waaronder dat van wedstrijdleider bij de FIA.
