Video: Het verhaal achter oordopjes voor rijders

Coureurs in allerlei vormen van autosport rijden tegenwoordig allemaal met geavanceerde oordopjes rond. Die oordopjes dienen niet alleen ter bescherming van de trommelvliezen, maar ze fungeren ook als belangrijk middel voor de communicatie van de pitmuur richting de rijders. Jon Beekhuis van de IndyCar Series geeft tekst en uitleg:

      Om makkelijker in te brengen. Verklaring: "Bevochtigen om gemakkelijker in te brengen
      Neem het oordopje bij het steeltje vast en bevochtig het eerst. Eigen speeksel is hierbij het meest neutraal. Daarvoor maak je je vingers even nat en ga je vervolgens met de vingers over het dopje."

    Wireless oordopjes zouden nu toch wel een keer gemaakt kunnen worden!??
