Christian Klien: "Ik ben blij dat ik weer kan racen"

Christian Klien maakt dit weekend zijn rentree als racecoureur in de Formule 1. De Oostenrijker vervangt bij Hispania Racing de schijnbaar zieke Sakon Yamamoto in Singapore. Ondanks dat hij tijdens de vrije trainig als laatste eindigde, is de voormalig Red Bull-coureur positief over zijn comeback.

"Ik ben blij dat ik weer kan racen", vertelde Klien. "De eerste sessie was niet gemakkelijk, want ik had vantevoren nog maar 40 ronden in deze auto gereden. Ik begon me echter steeds comfortabeler in de cockpit te voelen en heb weer veel geleerd."

"Ik kijk uit naar de dag van vandaag en hoop mezelf nog verder te gaan verbeteren."
