Ericsson: "Ik voel mij veel comfortabeler in de wagen"

Het team van Sauber heeft de eerste dag in Melbourne zeer nuttig kunnen besteden. De eerste vrije training stond in het teken van aerodynamica testen en tijdens VT2 werden korte en lange stints gereden. Met in totaal 111 ronden voor de rijders Ericsson en Wehrlein kan het team aan de slag met alle data.

"Ik voel mij comfortabeler"

Marcus Ericsson kwam tijdens VT2 naast de baan terecht, maar daarover zegt hij op de website van Sauber niets. Ericsson: "Tijdens het testen in Barcelona waren we niet tevreden over de balans van de wagen, maar we hebben een grote stap vooruit gemaakt. Ik voel mij veel comfortabeler in de wagen hier in Melbourne."

Wehrlein niet tevreden

Daar waar Ericsson er een positieve draai aangeeft is Pascal Wehrlein minder enthousiast: "Ik ben niet helemaal tevreden over de trainingssessies vandaag. We zijn nog steeds bezig om een goede set-up voor de wagen te vinden, maar we hebben een hoop goede data kunnen verzamelen en dat is positief."

Naast de baan is de temperatuur wat aangenamer dan boven het asfalt. Beetje comfortabel aan zijn teint werken in het zonnetje.

tja, de jaguar van mijn pa rijdt waarschijnlijk ook wel wat zachter dan de W08, maar dat betekent niet dat die ook sneller is
