Ferrari-aandelen fors hoger na winst Sebastian Vettel

Niet alleen de Ferrari-fans waren blij met de zege van Sebastian Vettel, ook de aandeelhouders van Ferrari zagen tot hun genoegen de prijs van het aandeel binnen een week met bijna 10% stijgen. Daar waar de echte fans rekening hielden met een goede prestatie van de Italiaanse renstal, dit na de uitstekende wintertests in Barcelona, waren de beurshandelaren kennelijk verrast.

70% rendement

Het aandeel Ferrari NV werd januari 2016 voor het eerst in Milaan verhandeld. In de week voor het begin van de eerste vrije training in Australië stond het aandeel op 62,50 euro, vanmiddag om 15:30 werden de aandelen voor 68,55 verhandeld. Een beurshandelaar in Milaan over de winst van Vettel: "Er is niets belangrijker voor een raceautofabrikant dan het winnen van de meest aansprekende raceklasse".

De eerste koers van het aandeel Ferrari NV werd in Milaan voor het eerst verhandeld tegen een koers van ongeveer 40 euro. Beleggers die destijds waren ingestapt hadden dus een rendement van bijna 70% gehad!

Opsteker voor Marchionne

De winst van het team van Ferrari is wederom een enorme opsteker voor Sergio Marchionne, de CEO van Fiat Chrysler, moederbedrijf van het Italiaanse automerk en Ferrari-president. In februari van dit jaar kon Ferrari een nettowinst van 400 miljoen euro presenteren tegenover 290 miljoen euro een jaar eerder. Ook zijn de verwachtingen voor 2017 positief: men verwacht 8.400 auto’s te verkopen tegenover 8.014 in 2016.

Marchionne neemt volgend jaar afscheid van het Fiat Chrysler concern, maar blijft volgens geruchten aan als Ferrari-president tot 2021. Marchionne is vastberaden om Ferrari weer daar te krijgen waar het team hoort volgens velen: strijdend om de wereldtitel in de Formule 1 en terug naar de gloriejaren van Schumacher. De eerste zege en de uitstekende financiële resultaten zijn daarbij een enorme steun in de rug voor Marchionne.
