Liberty profiteert van gunstig belastingklimaat F1

Delta Topco, het moederbedrijf van de Formule 1, draagt in Groot-Brittannië ontzettend weinig belasting af. De firma sluist een deel van de winsten weg via offshorebedrijven waardoor de winstbelasting veel lager uitvalt dan normaal gesproken het geval zou zijn. Nieuwe Formule 1-eigenaar Liberty Media is maar wat blij met dat gunstige belastingklimaat.

Het mediabedrijf heeft de belastingregelingen voor de Formule 1 zelfs gebruikt als een van de punten om de aandeelhouders over de streep te trekken voor de overname van de koningsklasse van de autosport, schrijft Christian Sylt voor Forbes. Liberty-directeur Greg Maffei betoogde destijds dat de Formule 1 belastingtechnisch een 'zeer efficiënte structuur' heeft.

Hij werd in de rug gesteund door Liberty-voorzitter John Malone. "Het is fiscaal allemaal geweldig geregeld. De belastingstructuur is briljant." Een andere directeur, Albert Rosenthaler, sloot zich daar volmondig bij aan. "Belastingtechnisch gezien heeft de Formule 1 geweldig werk geleverd door een extreem efficiënte structuur op te zetten. Wij zullen die structuur overnemen."

Kortom, Liberty Media zal geen aanstalten maken om iets aan de belastingafspraken en regelingen te veranderen. De nieuwe Formule 1-eigenaar kan juist niet wachten om te profiteren van het gunstige belastingklimaat.

Kom naar Nederland, daar schijnt het belastigklimaat ook zo geunstig te zijn, alleen niet voor de burgers.

Waarom denk je dat Bernie uitgenodigd is door en bij de Sjeik op de G P over 3 weken..;)
Er zullen nog wat dingen of handtekeningen in overdracht moeten..ook daar heerst een gunstig belasting regime of zwart bankgeheim.

  Ik zal het je uitleggen: je vermengt twee dingen. Namelijk zwart geld, dat gestald wordt bij banken in een land met een bankgeheim. Maar het bankgeheim zelf is dus bepaald niet zwart, maar gewoon een volkomen legale regel in het betreffende land. Overigens in steeds minder landen. Zelfs Zwitserland heeft het bankgeheim recent opgeheven.
