Eerste vrije training in China stilgelegd vanwege mist

De eerste vrije training voor de Grand Prix van China was een paar minuten bezig toen de marshals met rode vlaggen begonnen te zwaaien. De sessie is stilgelegd vanwege de hevige mist. Daardoor kan de medische helikopter niet landen bij het ziekenhuis.

De rode vlag-situatie duurt minimaal een half uur, laat de wedstrijdleiding weten. De baan in Sjanghai ligt er nat bij. Het heeft vanochtend geregend en een handvol coureurs heeft installatieruns op de full wets achter de rug.
