McLaren vervangt de turbo en MGU-H bij Vandoorne

Haas F1 Team-coureur Romain Grosjean is niet de enige die in China met een verse turbocharger en MGU-H aan de start verschijnt. Ook in de auto van McLaren-rijder Stoffel Vandoorne zijn die onderdelen vervangen, bevestigde de internationale autosportbond FIA.

Voor beiden heeft dat op dit moment nog geen gevolgen; coureurs mogen dit seizoen maximaal vier exemplaren van elk component van de aandrijflijn gebruiken. Zowel Grosjean als Vandoorne staan nu qua turbo en MGU-H op twee. Red Bull Racing heeft Daniel Ricciardo voorzien van een verse Control Electronics.
