Nieuw chassis voor Kovalainen voor Grand Prix van Japan

Lotus F1 Racing-coureur Heikki Kovalainen verschijnt op Suzuka met een nieuwe chassis aan de start. Zijn oude chassis is na de brand in Singapore terug gevlogen naar de basis in Groot-Brittannië voor reparaties en schoonmaakwerkzaamheden. Kovalainen rijdt in Japan met het chassis T127-03.

De Fin blikt vooruit: Ik hou van Japan. Het is een beetje een gek land, maar op een goede manier. De fans zijn erg hardcore, ze weten meer van de rijders dan wij zelf. En Suzuka is een geweldig circuit om op te racen. Ik denk dat we hier goed voor de dag kunnen komen. Het is een snel circuit en een goed ritme is van belang, maar ook ervaring en concentratie spelen een grote rol. Ik kan niet wachten om weer achter het stuur te kruipen.
