Mercedes kondigt TIBCO aan als nieuwe partner

Het team van Mercedes slaat de handen ineen met TIBCO Software Inc, een bedrijf gespecialiseerd in API-management, integratie en analyse van data. Het logo van de firma prijkt vanaf de Grand Prix van Bahrein van komend weekend op de helmen van coureurs Lewis Hamilton en Valtteri Bottas.

Mercedes-motorsportbaas Toto Wolff: "We zijn verguld om TIBCO welkom te heten in het team van Mercedes. Om een voorsprong te behouden in de autosport moet je continu blijven innoveren en in staat zijn om snel beslissingen te nemen aan de hand van betrouwbare informatie en inschattingen."

"De samenwerking met TIBCO biedt ons de mogelijkheid om onze performance op deze onderdelen te optimaliseren. Dat is niet alleen gunstig voor onze strategische beslissingen op het circuit, maar ook voor hoe we in de fabriek opereren. In ruil daarvoor krijgt TIBCO wereldwijde exposure."
