Geen mediaverplichtingen voor Vettel en Raikkonen

Ferrari gaat onverstoorbaar verder met het weren van de pers. Coureurs Sebastian Vettel en Kimi Raikkonen zijn niet opgeroepen voor de FIA-persconferentie in Bahrein en daarop heeft de Scuderia besloten om helemaal geen mediaverplichtingen voor het tweetal in te plannen.

Het rijdersduo zal alleen wat voor de eigen social media-kanalen van de Scuderia doen. De donderdag is voor de meeste teams en coureurs de dag om met de pers te praten, maar bij Ferrari zijn ze een beetje mediaschuw. De Italiaanse renstal heeft een radiostilte ingelast.

Dat was al zo tijdens de wintertests, tot grote onvrede van de Italiaanse pers. Het mediaverbod leek daarna opgeheven te zijn, maar niets is minder waar. Vettel is een van de leiders in het kampioenschap en Raikkonen is na de Chinese Grand Prix aangepakt door de teamleiding van Ferrari.

Beiden hebben dus genoeg te vertellen, zou je denken, maar praten mogen ze niet. Overigens zullen ze na de sessies tijdens het Grand Prix-weekend in Bahrein wel hun verhaal doen over de betreffende sessie, maar dat is niet meer dan normaal.

      Dit is wat er bedoeld wordt met de uitspraak "keep your head down", ook wel vertaald als: laat je acties voor je spreken. Niet lullen maar werken en winnen. Ik hou er van.

      Maar ondertussen wel weer het aloude en vermoeiende"we zetten Raïkkonen weer eens onder druk" - verhaal. Dus ze zwijgen maar één kant op ;-) Mij maakt het verder niet uit, maar Kimi moet haast alleen maar aan de financiën denken want op sportief gebied valt er weinig eer te behalen bij Ferrari..

    Er zit bij Ferrari meer beweging in de auto (dat mag op meerdere manieren worden uitgelegd) dan in het persbeleid ;-)

      Alle auto's worden voor de trainingen en race gekeurt door de FIA, en na de race doen ze het nog allemaal een keer dunnetjes over.

      Wat Schwantz zegt, ze voldoen gewoon aan de keuring, dus niks aan de hand. RB boys moeten ophouden te miepen en gewoon zelf een betere auto bouwen.

    ze hebben afgelopen zondag nog iedereen te woord gestaan, veel zal er 4 dagen later niet te melden zijn. Eigenlijk ook best belachelijk dat je 300x hetzelfde verhaal moet vertellen.

    Doen ze goed, laat de media maar speculeren. Dan kunnen ze daarna de media weer helemaal afbranden, omdat er niets van klopt, maar dat ligt dan aan de media, net als bv. die Wehrlein, dus.
