Sauber strikt Japanse sponsor voor race op Suzuka

Het team van Sauber heeft een overeenkomst voor één Grand Prix gesloten met Planex Group. Het logo van Planex Group prijkt in Japan op de monocoque van de C29. Financiële dienstverlener MJ Co. Ltd., onderdeel van Planex Group, komt op de side-pods en helmen van de coureurs te staan.

Katsuaki Kubota, directeur van Planex Group: Als Japans bedrijf is het een enorme eer om Sauber en Kamui Kobayashi, die Japan met een geweldige vechtersmentaliteit vertegenwoordigt, te steunen in Suzuka. Kobayashi: Het is leuk om een Japanse sponsor te verwelkomen voor mijn thuisrace. Ik ga mijn best doen om mijn team, mijn fans en Planex Group blij te maken met een opwindend optreden om niet snel te vergeten.

Scalp-D is al sinds de start van 2010 partner van Sauber. Het Japanse shampoo-merk breidt de samenwerking voor de Grand Prix van Japan uit. Het logo van Scalp-D zal naast de gebruikelijke positie op de wing end-plates van de achtervleugel een plekje op de side-pods krijgen.
