Lewis Hamilton ontsnapt aan nieuwe penalty wegens blokkeren

Lewis Hamilton heeft een nieuwe penalty ontlopen na afloop van de kwalificatie vanochtend. De Brit zou Williams-coureur Nico Hülkenberg opgehouden hebben, maar de stewards besloten geen actie te ondernemen.

Volgens Hülkenberg werd zijn laatste rondje in Q3 verpest doordat Hamilton hem zou hebben opgehouden. De stewards, die dit weekend worden bijgestaan door Alexander Wurz, besloten geen verdere straf uit te delen. De Brit start de race als achtste, nadat hij al vijf plaatsen straf kreeg vanwege een versnellingsbakwissel.
