Maurizio Arrivabene: "Erg blij met onze coureurs"

Voor het eerst sinds de Grand Prix van Frankrijk 2008 neemt Ferrari de volledige eerste startrij in voor een Grand Prix. Sebastian Vettel start de Grand Prix van Rusland van pole, teamgenoot Raikkonen kende zijn beste kwalificatie sinds Italië 2016. Ferrari-teambaas Maurizio Arrivabene is blij met zijn twee coureurs.

"Ik ben erg blij en kijk uit naar de race. We hebben een geweldige auto en twee geweldige coureurs. Het is goed om te zien dat ook onze rijders gelukkig zijn. Kimi Raikkonen heeft wederom laten zien dat hij nog steeds tot de allerbeste coureurs behoort. Zijn seizoen is wat traag op gang gekomen, maar hij lijkt het goede momentum te pakken te hebben", aldus Arrivabene in gesprek met Sky Italia.

Raikkonen stond vorig jaar nog op het podium in Sochi en Ferrari hoopt haar eerste dubbelzege sinds de Grand Prix van Duitsland 2010 te behalen.
