Ferrari vervangt de motor Sebastian Vettel uit voorzorg

Sebastian Vettel heeft voorafgaand aan de kwalificatie zijn motor moeten vervangen. Het is de derde keer dit seizoen dat zijn ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) vervangen moest worden na een waterlek eerder deze dag.

Aan het einde van de derde vrij training kwam de Ferrari-coureur stil te staan en werd een klein waterlek ontdekt. Omdat er maar beperkt tijd was voor de kwalificatie werd snel het besluit genomen om tot vervanging over te gaan.
