Maurizio Arrivabene: "Alle focus op de race"

Voor de tweede keer wordt de volledige eerste startrij door Ferrari bezet. Kimi Raikkonen scoorde zijn eerste pole in negen jaar, voor Sebastian Vettel was er een tweede plek. Met de slechte kwalificatie van Mercedes-coureur Lewis Hamilton in het achterhoofd, heeft Ferrari alle reden om optimistisch te zijn.

In gesprek met Sky Sports laat Maurizio Arrivabene de volgende reactie optekenen: "Natuurlijk is het fijn om met beide auto's op de eerste rij te staan, maar de race is pas morgen. In Sochi zag het er ook goed uit, maar wonnen we de race niet. Kimi Raikkonen reed een fantastische ronde, als een ware kampioen. Sebastian Vettel maakte een foutje in de vijfde bocht, maar kwam nog heel dicht bij de tijd van Raikkonen. De focus gaat nu naar de race, daar moet het gaan gebeuren."
