Sebastian Vettel: "Niet erg blij met laatste run"

Sebastian Vettel moest, ondanks dat Ferrari tijdens de vrije trainingen oppermachtig leek, tijdens de kwalificatie zijn meerdere erkennen in een ontketende Lewis Hamilton. De viervoudig wereldkampioen was niet geheel tevreden over zijn tweede run in Q3 en denkt dat hij daardoor pole position miste: "Ik ben niet helemaal blij met de laatste run, die zou ik graag nog een keer overdoen. In het begin hadden we het lastig, omdat er iets minder grip was. Desondanks was het weer een geweldige kwalificatie en hing er zoals altijd een prachtige sfeer hier."

Will Buxton, die de topdrie-interviews afnam, herinnerde Vettel nog even aan het incident met een meeuw vorig jaar en vroeg of dat zijn kwalificatie niet nadelig had beinvloed, waarop Vettel gevat antwoordde: "Nee, maar die zat vorig jaar ook alleen tijdens de race in bocht één, dus daar verwachtte ik sowieso geen problemen mee."
