Brown acht reorganisatie niet nodig bij McLaren

McLaren-directeur Zak Brown waakt ervoor om te rigoureuze veranderingen binnen de organisatie door te voeren. De ware kracht van het team van McLaren is momenteel lastig vast te stellen omdat de Honda-motor zo zwak is. Het gebrek aan succes ligt vooral aan een gebrek aan vermogen.

Brown weigert dan ook als een olifant door een porseleinkast te gaan. "Nee, ik ben van mening dat McLaren een geweldig bedrijf is. We hebben de financiële afdeling wel geherstructureerd, maar ik ben zeer te spreken over hoe Eric Boullier leiding geeft aan het raceteam."

"We missen een cruciaal ingrediënt om succesvol te zijn, namelijk een krachtige motor. Dan moet je voorzichtigheid betrachten bij eventuele veranderingen binnen de renstal. Voor je het weet verander je dingen die niet het werkelijke probleem vormen."
