Tung en Lammers vanavond in show van Eva Jinek

Ho-Pin Tung en Jan Lammers zijn vanavond te gast in het praatprogramma van Eva Jinek op NPO 1. Tung rook gisteren even aan de algehele overwinning in de 24 uur van Le Mans. Uiteindelijk kwam de Nederlandse Chinees als tweede over de meet. Ook iets om trots op te zijn, net als de winst in de LMP2-klasse. Lammers reed samen met Frits van Eerd en Rubens Barrichello voor Racing Team Nederland. Vanavond praten Tung en Lammers over hun belevenissen. Jinek Live begint om 22.20 uur op NPO 1.

In de wandelgangen werd gefluisterd dat Lammers op Le Mans rondentijden reed die, als je ze vermenigvuldigd met de tijden van Hamilton op Bakoe 2016, dan achterste voren opleest, er 3 bij optelt en 2 achter de komma bewaard, waar je dan weer de wortel van neemt, ongeveer 1,5 tiende van de gemidde...     Zo snel kan het dus gaan Ho-Pin ;p De beste man rijd toch ook al 20 jaar in de autosport.

      Gelukkig geeft Jinek ruimtelijk toe dat autosport een wereld is die pas sindsdien haar ogen heeft geopend. Ze stelt zich leerzaam en geïnteresseerd op. Ik kan dat alleen maar toejuichen. Ik lach me dood als ik naar het grote NOS kijk. Eerder deze week nog vol in de aanval dat Formule 1 naar de open zender moet, want de NOS heeft natuurlijk altijd aandacht voor autosport gehad. Gelukkig duurde het niet lang voor we de ware aard van het beestje weer te zien kregen. Ho-Pin behaalde zondag by far de grootste Nederlandse sportoverwinning. De NOS kreeg het voor elkaar om in het grote en een uur durende sportjournaal er in de laatste minuten van de uitzending maar liefst 30 seconden aan te wijden. De verslaggever had nog nooit van Ho-Pin gehoord, want zijn naam uitspreken lukte niet. Verder kon men alleen maar aangeven dat hij 2e was geworden en daar toch wel blij mee mocht zijn. Terwijl de verslaggever nog stotterend probeerde uit te spreken voor welk team Ho-Pin reed en struikelde over weer een Chinese naam van een of andere vage en onbekende acteur kwamen er al juichende Mexicaanse voetbalfans in beeld voor de Confederations Cup. Nee, de NOS weet werkelijk alles van Le Mans, dus laat al die autosport maar weer naar het open kanaal bij de NOS gaan!! Gaat me een feestje worden....

      Tung rijdt voor China, dus geen NL overwinning naar mijn mening.

Kortom, gewoon heel heel knap!

      Ze hield ook niet erg haar mond, Ho-Pin was niet blij toen ze aan Lammers refereerde als degene die Le Mans écht gewonnen heeft... want Ho-Pin werd natuurlijk maar 2e achter die LMP1. Dat er verschillende klassen zijn snapt ze niet, maar wat weet zij nou van klasse.

      Enige dat telt op Le Mans is de algemene overwinning, wie herinnert zich de LMP2 winnaars van vroeger? Dus ze heeft zeker gelijk.

      Dat was nou juist het gemene, de sneer zat precies in de overgang. Zoiets als "Dan nu het woord aan iemand die Le Mans wel echt gewonnen heeft: Jan, vertel..."
