Opnieuw banden Pirelli beschadigd tijdens transport

Bandenleverancier Pirelli moet wederom nieuwe banden invliegen nadat de banden voor de Azerbeidzjaanse Grand Prix van komend weekend bij het transport beschadigd zijn geraakt. Dat overkwam de Italiaanse bandenfabrikant eerder al voor de Grand Prix van Spanje.

De wedstrijdleiding in Bakoe heeft een persbericht uitgebracht waarin staat dat Pirelli toestemming heeft gekregen om dertien setjes banden te vervangen. "Dit is noodzakelijk na problemen die tijdens het transport zijn ontstaan en waar de bandenleverancier niets aan kon doen", aldus de FIA.

      Past dat? Het zijn kleine bandjes, maar 13". Meeste auto's hebben tegenwoordig grotere rondjes gemonteerd aan de onderkant

      Ik wil nog wel een dikke slof onder mijn motortje. Liefst met profiel, maar zonder geen bezwaar. F1-voorbandje moet goed genoeg zijn voor achterop.

    Wat ik niet snap: waarom mag dat alleen als het niet de schuld van Pirelli is? Als het wel hun eigen fout zou zijn, moeten ze dan een team kapotte banden geven?
